Game Time Performance is looking for a like-minded strength & conditioning coach or physiotherapist to join our team to help take our sports rehabilitation and performance programs to a whole new level!

ABOUT THE ROLE

📍 Location: Morningside, Brisbane
💼 Casual | 8-10 hours per week to start (with opportunity to grow)

About Us – Game Time Performance

Game Time Performance is Brisbane’s home for athlete rehab and development. We’re not your typical gym. We’re a purpose-built facility that brings together sports physiotherapy, strength & conditioning, and sports science technology to deliver one clear outcome: helping athletes return from injury and dominate their sport.

Whether it’s a teenager bouncing back from ACL surgery, a semi-pro pushing for selection, or a junior athlete learning how to train in the gym — we’re trusted by hundreds of athletes across Brisbane to deliver high-quality coaching with structure, intent, and real progress. You can learn more about our philosophy, programs, and team at www.gametimeperformance.com.au.

The Opportunity

We’re expanding and looking for a driven, high-energy Strength & Conditioning Coach or Physiotherapist to join our growing team in a casual capacity. You’ll play a key role in delivering small group and 1:1 coaching sessions, managing your own group of athletes, and supporting rehab-to-performance pathways alongside our physio team.

From day one, you’ll enter our 4-month CPD onboarding program — designed to give you the tools, systems, and knowledge to coach confidently in both performance and rehab environments. This 16 week course ensures that everyone on our team is providing the same high level of care for our athletes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering group and 1:1 strength & conditioning sessions across youth, return-to-play, and general performance populations in the gym and out on the field

  • Managing your own list of athletes — programming, testing, and progression tracking

  • Running performance testing protocols using VALD assessment systems

  • Supporting return-to-play rehab programs, working closely with our sports physio team

  • Maintaining clear session structure, athlete feedback, and data reporting

  • Creating strong relationships with athletes and families to drive engagement and retention

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who doesn’t just coach — they lead the floor, bring energy, and care about athlete outcomes. You’ll need to be systems-driven, a strong communicator, and comfortable delivering sessions with professionalism and purpose.

Minimum qualifications (must hold one or more):

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science (or equivalent)

  • 🏋️ ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Accreditation

  • 🩺 Bachelors of Physiotherapy

Ideal traits:
✅ High energy, confident communicator
✅ Strong attention to movement quality and session structure
✅ Passionate about working with youth and recreational athletes
✅ Comfortable being mentored and held accountable
✅ Eager to grow with the facility — not just fill hours

✅ Ability to work afternoons 3-7pm
