Are you passionate about sports performance and ready to take your career to the next level? Game Time Performance is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part-Time Performance Coach to join our team. As a leading sports rehabilitation and performance clinic, we are committed to helping athletes of all levels reach their full potential get back to the sport they love and performing at the highest level. Our team is made up of physiotherapists and strength and conditioning coaches, working with a predominantly athletic population and having close ties with several local sporting clubs. 

 

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and qualified individual to fill the role of Casual Performance Coach. The successful candidate will have a minimum qualification of an Exercise Science degree and/or ASCA Associate Level certification. This position requires a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week, with the potential to build into more hours, allowing for growth and advancement within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  1. Athlete Performance Assessments: Conduct thorough athlete assessments to evaluate their physical condition, strengths, and areas for improvement. We have a full VALD and AxIT system suite, ensuring our testing procedures are reliable and provide meaningful data. 

  2. Performance and Rehab Class Supervision: Lead and supervise performance and rehabilitation classes, ensuring athletes and patients receive the highest quality rehabilitation and training.

  3. Athlete Programming: Develop and implement personalised training programs tailored to individual athlete needs and goals.

  4. Field Session Coaching: Provide coaching during field sessions to improve athlete performance and skills.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Exercise Science degree or ASCA Associate Level certification.

  • Strong knowledge of sports performance and conditioning principles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for helping athletes achieve their best.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability for at least 12 hours per week (afternoons), with flexible scheduling, with the aim to add more hours as the right candidate settles in. 

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with other team members and therapists.
