ACL REHAB BACKED BY THE LATEST RESEARCH

Not all ACL rehab is the same. After years of helping ACL athletes back to sport and collating the most up-to-date and quality evidence, we created the Game Time ACL rehab protocol. All ACL athletes are guided through this criteria-based protocol to leave no stone unturned during their rehab, continually earning the right to progress and maximise outcomes.

ACL Rehab Testing

If you're not testing regularly, you're guessing during ACL rehab. We have invested heavily into equipping our sports physiotherapy team with a range of sports-science devices. This ensures therapists have accurate data to evaluate improvements, readiness to progress and what needs to be the focus areas for future rehab. These testing batteries are outlined in our free rehab protocol.

ACL Rehab Program

TAILORED PROGRAMS AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON

All patients receive a tailored and individualised rehab program on a mobile app. This provides patients with 24 hour access to their home, gym & running programs at the touch of a button, with video demonstrations, reps, sets, important coaching cues, you name it. This helps maximise accountability during this long rehab process and provides therapists with crucial information regarding improvements away from the facility.

SPORTS REHAB DONE PROPERLY

ACL shouldn't be easy. 50% of athletes don't return to the same level as prior to injury, with 20% re-injuring their ACL. ACL rehab is all about earning the right to progress so that when you make a return to sport, you're ready, and you do not become another statistic. Here at Game Time, athletes have access to our Performance Rehab sessions in our gym, enabling them to complete their rehab programs under the supervision of our expert coaches and physios, leaving no stone unturned with their ACL rehab.

ACL Rehab Program

ACCESS TO RUNNING REHAB SESSIONS

A key component of ACL rehab that is often glazed over is progressing back to running. Our field sessions enable ACL athletes to complete their tailored running program under the watchful eye of a coach, gradually rebuilding their speed, acceleration, agility and fitness, in a social, group environment.

 

This also helps the re-integration of training drills back into an athlete's routine, allowing the physio to provide guidance on what a return to training should look like towards the end of their ACL rehab.

Our ACL rehab programs maximise athletic development throughout rehab, ensuring uninjured limbs and fitness levels don't suffer and that they can meet the demands of their sport on their return. 

We aim to treat the athlete, not just the injury. On discharge, we want them to be a force to be reckoned with and not living their lives on a physio bed.

ACL STATE UNIVERSITY

ACL rehab is a long, sometimes lonely, road. With the large number of ACL athletes that go through our program, we wanted to create a supportive community that get around each other, celebrate each other's wins, and be there when times are tough.

 

Taking inspiration from US college sport programs, ACL State University (our ACL rehab program) was born. Athletes are provided with information and support every step of the way through their ACL rehab, ACL State merchandise to look the part and access to online support channels where athletes can reach out and support each other. 

 

Just like a phoenix rising from the ashes, our athletes go from down and out post surgery, back to performing at an elite level, soaring above their competition. Whether you've just had surgery and are looking to enrol as a freshman (start pohysio), or transfer from another provider, ACL State University at Game Time is THE place for athletic ACL rehab!
